King's Peak.

A couple weeks ago we ventured up to King's Peak.  Which just happens to be the highest peak in Utah, so that's pretty neat. It was real good time. There are few things I like more than getting my body in the long distance hiking groove. You know the one where you've just been walking 10+ miles & your body no longer feels anything & you feel like you could go forever. I live for that feeling. Anyways, we camped out at Henry's Lake, had lots of deep conversations, ate our weight in Mountain House meals, pranced through many fields of wild flowers, got really sunburned, listened to a lot of blue grass & met some rad people. Here are a few photos.
Despite what you think that is delicious cheesecake.
& my personal favorite meal, pasta primavera.

Heads Up.

So now for real life & stuff. I've been home for exactly a month today & I can say in confidence that it has easily been one of the chillest months of my life. Who doesn't love being the twenty year old [I turned twenty, how depressing is that?] enjoying the luxuries of living at their parents? My responsibility level is at an all time low & I'm loving every second of it. I can honestly say that I've spent about 75% of my time outdoors, which is just the way I like to live. My heart feels right here in the desert. Lake Powell, The Grand Canyon, Pine Valley & many other swell places have been visited. I'm real happy! Long live summertime & careless days.

Oh China.

HEY GUESS WHAT!? This is my last China post ever. [Well at least until I venture over there again] Can you believe it? China is easily one of the strangest places on earth. We would always just say "Oh China." whenever something odd would happen. [Which was about two hundred times a day] Anyways here are a couple "Oh China" moments that I captured...
-They are for real afraid of the number four because they think it is bad luck. So they always stick the foreigners on the fourth floor.
-Just in case you want some blessed meat in your cup of noodles.
-They would keep beer in the supply closet at the kindergarten & offer it to us right before class.
-A personal favorite
That's a wrap!
