I'm not that good at breathing in.

Three of my favorites from one of my favorites.

Koh Phi Phi.

Phi Phi was bar none my favorite island. Although I  may be a little biased because I celebrated my birthday & experienced the best weather while we were there. Regardless I loved it.

The first day we arrived at our cute resort (Bay View Resort) & instantly took off on an island tour. We hopped on a boat & headed to a variety of beautiful beaches, islands, & great snorkeling locations. I didn't know that water this blue or clear existed. It was one of the books.
People actually live in this cave!
Ginger probs.
Snorkeling was my favorite part. We saw some of the coolest fish & coral. I even saw some clownfish, swordfish, & jellyfish(one of them got a guy on our boat pretty good. I'm obsessed with the ocean.
This photo is 100% candid and makes me laugh out loud for some reason.
Funny story. Our boat ride from Koh Lanta to Koh Phi Phi was straight hell. Seriously everyone was sea sick. They were passing barf bags out like nobody's business. The Asian family next to me filled like five of them. It took everything in me not to lose my cool. I was so deep in the pain cave. Anyways after that terrible experience I decided to take sea sickness pills from our guide. Whatever it was must have been extra strength because I'm pretty sure I slept through half the tour. Every muscle in my body was completely relaxed. I was falling asleep in the ocean! Either way it made for a supppppper relaxing day.
Our guide thought he was a super artsy photographer & took this pic through the lens of my sunglasses.
That night we ate a delicious dinner on the beach (at our resort) then went out for dessert.
Our second day in Phi Phi was my birthday! I was so spoiled. I ate the best food, got a killer massage, relaxed on the beach, went shopping, hiked to an overlook, and danced my heart out at a beach party.

This cute restaurant made me a brownie, turned on disco lights, let me blow out a candle, and sang to me. I felt super loved.
Phi Phi is known as the party island so we thought we'd check out the scene. Let me just tell you that it was WILD. The whole beach was covered in fire shows, parties, and lots of crazy foreigners. Some of the stuff that goes down hahahaha. I think we were the only sober ones on the whole beach and we still danced harder than anyone else.
There are a lot of Muslims down south & we just happened to be there during Ramadan which was kind of cool. Here is an awkward picture of me post party with a rad filter.
We found it fitting to spend our last day there strictly soaking in the beach.
Koh Phi Phi surely has my heart.

Koh Lanta.

Koh Lanta was beyond chill. Its not as touristy as some of the other islands so it was a nice get away. Something about that island was just full of laid back vibes.

We stayed at a place called Lanta New Beach Bungalows. I loved it! It was ghetto fabulous. They had this awesome little bar/restaurant area right by the ocean that we hung out at every day. We'd just lay around, drink ginger tea, listen to Jack Johnson & love our lives. I've never felt such care free island vibes in all my days.
This place was stoners paradise. Ocean, chill music, great food and weed. Seriously they even sold joints. Everyone was stoned it was almost hard to get anything accomplished because everyone was chillin so hard.
We got massages & henna tattoos.
We rented scooters two of the days we were there & literally explored the whole entire island. It was a blast. Liz & I even survived a little crash.
It rained two of three days we were three. It was actually kind of nice though. It made for some great & beautiful adventures.
A twist on Thailand's classic saying "same same but different"
Soooo many fresh fruit smoothies these last few months.
This place/food was nothing shy of incredible.
The most humble living conditions I think I've ever seen. I feel so blessed.
One morning we went to do yoga at a place called Oasis Yoga. I loved it. The instructor was rad, the practice perfect, and the location on a rooftop overlooking the ocean. I felt like a new person afterwards. Yoga is where its at.
Stay chill Koh Lanta, stay chill.
