Demon Host.

It's posts like this that I usually put off. They consist of blurry pictures and descriptions of times that would only be lovely if you experienced them. Regardless I must share with you fools some of the latest happenings.

-Its National Candy Corn Day! [Which actually isn't that big of a deal considering the fact that everyday of the year is national something or other.] I think I will celebrate by buying myself ANOTHER bag. It's fine really.

-There is the cutest pumpkin patch ever in Orem. I've been twice in the last week. On Monday nights they even give you free hot chocolate & hay rides. It's such a fun thing.
-Indian food from Bombay House is beyond great.

-Work has been a bit etch a sketch lately. The bank across the street was robbed with a bomb threat on Friday & this guy waited for by my car when I got off a few days before. I once read somewhere that being a teller is among the top 50 most dangerous professions. [I call BS] But then again things have been getting real weird.

-IKEA trips &  Taco Amigo with this fine lad.
-Sam & I roam the town in Def Leppard Tees & Beanies.
-We are really good at Geocaching. Even when I jump out of a shopping cart and pull Jessica into a muddy puddle on the ground.
-I never go to school. I think I've been averaging two classes a week. I made it to one of my three today & proceeded to create a little Halloween playlist. It's not half bad. Give it a listen.

-I've been drinking this stuff called Crio Bru. I'm convinced that it's really good for me. So I whip out my french press & make myself a nice steamy batch everyday.

-We carved a schizophrenic pumpkin [Well actually Jessica & Casey did & I watched] but it was really fun.

-I got to hang out with my old pal Tate on Saturday. We went to a football game, Red Robin [Where I ate a double cheese burger. Gasp. Red meat is good sometimes] & went to The Fear Factory. The Fear Factory was SOO much fun. Way scarier than The Haunted Circus & they gave me a free shot glass.
-Tomorrow is Halloween & I still don't know what I am going to be. Yeah remember all of those great ideas that I had? I put them off and now I am going to have to be something lame. Oh well I'm looking forward to getting my party on.

I'm feeling festive. You should get yourself in the Halloween spirit as well! Good day.

Cabin Fever.

There are few places in the world I would rather be than snuggled up in a cabin surrounded by trees. This weekend I had traveled to Woodland, Utah with my second family to enjoy the beauties that cabin life brings. Everything was perfect. We wore over sized clothing, watched Harry Potter, swung on the rope swing. basked in the glory of Park City, ate delicious food, scared ourselves silly & enjoyed each others company.
May cabin fever burn forever.

Another Fall Frenzy.

I shouldn't write when I'm listening to instrumentals. It makes everything come out so cheesy & movie like. Then again my life has had that feel good glow that movies possess lately. Want to feel some of this magic? Listen to this song while looking through some old photographs. Whether tears form or not you will get the idea.

I want to be a hundred places at once lately. I get really stressed out by the fact that I can't properly maintain all of my relationships. When I start to feel them dwindle I panic. Hence, I call my friends & family way more frequently than I should and send random I love you's like they are going out of style. There are just so many amazing people in my life that I would prefer to be with all the time. I want to live twenty different lives with twenty different people is that to much to ask for?

I saw Perks of Being a Wallflower again. It gets better every time.

So I wen't to The xx & stuff. One of the best concerts I have ever been to. The whole night was magical & we all just got so weird. I felt like I was being abducted by aliens. There were so many people I knew there & it was pretty rad that we were one of the only groups dancing like mad. She forgot the words to Heart Skipped A Beat which made me so happy. There was also a really neat light up X which I am sure all of you saw seventy times on your social networks.
Hikes to the hot springs are real KEWL & I'm rocking the oriental look here but in my defense the flash was reallly bright.
Work has been pretty alright lately because I get to read great ksl articles about Ukraine's killer dolphins & a man forgetting where he parked for two years. Oh & they offered to take us to Disney Land if we meet our goals. Isn't that neat.

They finally uploaded the best part of Moonrise Kingdom to YouTube. Now Sam & I can better perfect our dance moves to be just like these two gems.
My dad has made me cry twice this week. The first time was when he sent me this picture saying he was representing me in our annual haunted house making. The second is when I came home today & found a "just because" letter that he had sent me in the mail. It's safe to say I bawled the whole time I read it because it was the sweetest thing ever. Family is where its at.
Until next time folks!

In That Moment, I Swear We Were Infinite.

I blog a lot lately. Something about throwing words together that lack proper punctuation and importance is so appealing to me. I realized the other day that I am going to be thirty in eleven years and I about lost my mind. Since then I've been trying to live like the teenager I am. Let your mind get creative.

I've had a lot of those moments lately. You know the ones where you are in the car & it's raining & you are wearing a new dress & you feel okay about yourself & your jam comes on & you sing so loud that your throat hurts & people stare & you feel so alive & okay about things.

I have been up the canyon more than I have been in town, I'm not even exaggerating. I'm obsessed with riding my bike. I usually bike up to south fork and then go up later in the day to hike. It's so thrilling. I fear I've evolved into a bike junkie. [I guess it just runs in the family.]

I've been wearing red lipstick & listening to songs like this because they make me feel "foxy".

I went to 80's night & I'm not playing when I say it was one of the funnest nights of my life. The last picture is just some of the post party glamour. I felt so weird.
Running in the rain is super fun.

This is why I love my lil' sis so much.

I have seen SO many breath taking things lately and I can't help but want to share them with others. It's frustrating when you just want to turn to the person next to you and talk about the perfection of the moment and there is nobody there.

I survived the Haunted Circus last night. I feel like I deserve a medal or something.

Today is the best guy I knows birthday. I sure do appreciate him and the example he sets for me. I hope for nothing more than to be in love like these two kids are.
I think I have the flu but this diet coke I'm drinking right now is healing me. Hallelujah.

I've been breaking out the D.I. sweaters lately & that always calls for a good time.
My usual music kind of bums me out lately so I've been listening to some bad pop like this. Whatever works right?

La vida es dulce!

Tights & Falling Leaves.

What a beautiful life I live. Here are a few things that happened this week
-My sweet friends spoiled me with all sorts of treats. Including my very favorite Sammies.
-Monday is climbing day. Straight therapy.
-Thai Tuesday & a birthday celebration with some friends up in Salt Lake for Maddi's Birthday!
-I have way too many good ideas for Halloween costumes & I can't decide which one is the best option.
-UVU decided they would do this cute thing where they put my tweet in the school review. Weird, I don't know how they found it or how I feel about 30,000 plus students being able to view it.
-I was biking around doing some errands when I saw a pet store. Through a series of events I bought a pet mouse. I really just need something to care for & I figured that nothing could be better than a sweet mouse that I could snuggle with. I named him Richie placed him in my purse & biked home the happiest girl in the world. This picture is very deceiving, he was not ugly or scary at all.
-My long time obsession with jello shots led to us to making some. Virgin of course. It was way too fun.
-My family came into town & we had such a good time together. Meg went & saw Perks of Being a Wallflower with me & I can safely say that I am still emotionally drained.
-We wen't to conference on Saturday & as always it was a delight.[Please ignore the fact that it looks like I am balding in this picture.]
-SHOPPING. Things got out of hand. Between my sister, my mom & I I'm pretty sure we bought out half of Forever 21. An additional 50% off of clearance. This frugal girl about lost her mind. I even went back again today. Seven dresses, underwear, two blazers, a skirt, a romper, four pairs of earrings, three shirts, a belt, five sweaters and three rings later I was in heaven. Mind you I got all of those items for 110 bones.
-I could write a book about Sunday October 7th, 2012. It was a cute day. We played at the park, listened to conference, trekked up the canyon, laid in our blanket fort, ate great food, sang too loud, met new people, & experienced the social seven.
-Oh yeah remember my cute pet mouse? Long story short I forgot to feed him over the weekend & he died. It was probably the worst thing ever. I almost cried when I saw his sweet little body lying on the bathroom floor. We held a service for him up the canyon. I don't know if any of you guys have ever been to a mouse's funeral but it's a real game changer.
-Today is a paid holiday at work because it is COLUMBUS DAY. Like really? Could my job get any better?
-Now all I do is dance around in my new dresses to songs like these & I've never felt more alive.
