It's Alright, It's Okay.

I just wrote a completely different post than the one I am sharing here. A post full of sob stories about sickness, boys & lack of satisfaction.  Something about it felt off and it didn't take long before I realized how ridiculous it is to dwell on such things. There are so many reasons why my life is beautiful and I want to share with you guys a few of them.
- My sweet family. Honestly I think that my dad called me seven times on Friday just to make sure I was feeling okay & had everything that I needed.
-The outdoors. Words could never express how much I love them. I had the opportunity to trek up the canyon in the hippie van to go camping this week. We shot guns, played the guitar, sat around the camp fire, ate tin foil dinners and just enjoyed each others company. It was rejuvenating.
-My friends. They never fail to amaze me in their actions/examples towards me.
-My job. I couldn't begin to tell you guys how much I learn on a daily basis or how much fun I have with my coworkers. MACU or bust. Also they are letting me put a picture of pine valley on my credit card so that's a cool random fact for you.
-Music. I swear I came out of the womb a super fan but honestly how cool is it that music has the ability to touch people in a way that nothing else does.
-Weddings. Weird I know but lately I've attended quite a few and they always lead to very much needed thought provoking conversations between Miss Maddi & I.
-School. My schedule is so rad this semester & I really do feel like I am learning so many things that are actually applicable to life. [Maybe I'm just happy because I'm done with math] Either way the fact that I get to take trips to the museum on rainy days for my homework is all sorts of great.
Even when life is mean, it's nice.

That's What It Amounts To.

Class was canceled this morning. So I came home and sat in my new chair which I love very much. I've been listening to this old song & watching this angel. I'm eating macaroni & cheese & candy corns for breakfast. My body feels exhausted from climbing & few hours of sleep. My mind feels worn from school, work, and thinking. I've been cursed with a restless mind. My roommate is constantly telling me I need to stop being so darn analytical but I'm convinced it is something that was programmed into me. I'm not necessarily sad. I've just reopened doors that are hard to shut and I'm sick of being disappointed in others and myself. As a result I'm trying to draw conclusions about others things in my life. I've completely switched what I thought I was going to major in. Something feels so right about recreational therapy. Also, I might be able to be the marketer for Out n Back which would be a dream come true. I know I've already posted it before but I get up every morning and I read this quote from Chrisopher Mccandless. Such is life.

"You are wrong if you think joy emanates only or principally from human relationships. God has place it all around us. It is in everything and anything we might experience. We just have to have the courage to turn against our habitual lifestyle and engage in unconventional living."

It's Like I Told You Honey.

I generally blog under three circumstances. 1. I'm avoiding homework 2. I can't sleep 3. I'm emotional. It's a deadly situation. I think that all three account for this post. It's six something or other. [I don't know why I feel it necessary to share what time of day it is every time but I'm going to continue doing so] These last three weeks have flown by.
-School has been fun lately but very time consuming
-Good morning sunflowers are every girl's weakness. I didn't have a vase though so I had to get resourceful and put them in a blender. They have added a really nice red neck touch to our place.
-Seriously the hospital cafeteria is where it's at.
-I've been laughing at my own taste in music lately. I feel like I'm walking through Forever 21 every time I play my jams. I'm all bout that life. Listen here
-I got to see my parents again when I was up north. I am so lucky.
-Miss Megan celebrated a birthday & as always my mom went all out.
-When people snap pictures of you like this, you realize you might need to change your lifestyle.
-I cheered at the homecoming game. It was so fun to be there with my sister. So weird that she is in high school and DRIVING.
-Two words. PROVO CANYON. It is so stunning right now and the weather is perfect. So naturally I've been hiking around and picnicking like mad.  If you live in the area you would be a fool not to do the same.
-Oh my gosh. I woke up the other day and there was a wolf spider crawling across my face.
-Weekend number two in St. George and Hailee is getting married today! Woohoo. I will hopefully be better at blogging in the near future so you can see pictures.
-I ordered a ton of stuff from china and it could take 45 business days to get here. What was I thinking?
- Lastly I can't get enough of the Avett Brothers and The xx's new stuff.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower

Who else is stoked out of their mind for Perks of Being a Wallflower!? Considering the fact that I sat down and didn't move a muscle until I finished the book I have big expectations. It's hard to go wrong with Emma Watson. Also, The Great Gatsby & Anna Karenina should be splendid. Yay for talking pictures!
And I'm listening to this song right now in the library and it is taking every fiber of my being not to break out in song and dance. Happy Tuesday!

Old Grizzly Bear.

I'll tell you what. Life comes at you fast & when it does blogging is the least of your concerns. Want to know a few things?
-I went to Iron & Wine with some of my best friends & as always it was a jolly good time.
-I moved out of good ol rain tree. I already miss my roommates so much. One of them gave me a machete as a going away present.
-I moved into my new house! So far so good. We put up so many painting in our room its like a museum and it came furnished with the cutest stuff ever. I got a mean deal so I have few complaints. Even if sometimes we think its haunted and crawling with spiders.
-I've been craving fall like a mad man.
-I go to the hospital cafeteria just to get food all the time. It is delicious, cheap & open twenty four seven. Plus we steal the masks and then walk around startling people.
-It's funny how fast things can change. Sometimes you just have to take your pants off and slide down the ice. Some risks are good and even if they are not you learn something.
-We rode the trax to M Ward which was a cool experience. Then we danced and had fun and some skitch burnt me with her cigarette & another spilled her beer on my shoes.
-Many late nights and deep conversations under Christmas lights.
-I hiked Timp. All fifteen miles of it. We started at 2:30 a.m. & ended at 12:30 p.m. (that's mostly because we laid on top of the mountain for a couple of hours & froze to death) We drank mio, ate tigers milk & talked about life.
- I listen to these two songs and several similar like a real stoner.
-School started. My rock climbing teacher is radder than rad, my art professor can't be older than twenty five & my humanities professor is an insane cat lady. And I quote "My cat has a very passive aggressive tail, so I built her a bed on my desk so I can pet her all day long."
-I hang out at the library on the reg but that's nothing new.
-Bailey left, Maddi came, I miss Jenna & I feel fortunate to have such awesome friends.
-My parents surprised me with a "Yo we are outside of your work" visit. Which was really refreshing.
-I went to this cool place in Salt Lake & had a whole lot of fun.
-I ate pumpkin bread & wore Christmas socks.

More has happened but my memory is blurry. All I can say is that life is crazy.
