Meet You At The Statue In An Hour.

I'm writing this post because my nails are wet & they have to dry before I can go to sleep. Soooo here goes nothing

I got a pass to the Orem Fitness Center & I'm convinced that Utah Valley's finest congregate there. I can't even work out because I'm so distracted by all the odd ducks that are prancing around.

I finally got around to making a tin can telephone and I was stoked about it. How ghetto is the heart frame. We were cracking ourselves up.
I had a dream my little sister died last night. I woke up sick and Bailey said I was yelling in my sleep. It changed me.

OMG guys speaking of feeling sick last weekend I wasn't feeling so hot & I threw up all over my friends bed. It was probably the most awful thing that has ever happened to me. I swore I would never show my face again. But on the plus side he was a total sweetheart about it. Held my hair, slept on the floor with me and all that jazz.

So like always I've been kicking it outside. Hiking n stuff. Today I wen't to this water slide thing. It was  a good time. Except it took me like an hour to go down it because I'm a pansy. In my defense I'm posting this picture of me standing at the top so you can see that it is decent sized.
I really like sad music lately. It makes me happy. I'm not emo I promise.

I ate a flipping cheeseburger today. I'm pretty sure that's the first time I've had a burger in at least eight months and it was delicious. [Wow i'm posting about cheeseburgers..] But I mean while I'm talking about my poor eating habits I might as well tell you that I love Alberto's and go there by myself with no shame.

This one day I went to the Parade of Homes, Cabellas & an unreal garden. Lets just say I was a happy girl.
City creek & Cheesecake factory.

Carnivals make me giddy. Strawberry days was no exception.

Lastly, I think Pandora caters music depending on the time of day and I love that.

Hey!! Mus Be Da Money!

Random posts are my favorite. So random is what you get.

The Fathers Day bandwagon is one that I am willing to jump onto because my dad rocks. He is the wisest man I have ever known and I love him with all my heart. I hope he doesn't find out that I posted this video because he will kill me. (Really though I'm the one playing the fool) He is so rad. Don't believe me? Skip to 2:15.

I'm a giggling monster. I can't stop.

Everyone needs a good horse mask.
I had Whitney Houston's hit stuck in my head for about three days and guess what? I wasn't even mad about it.

This is me creeping on some Zoobies.. as we speak.
Seven Peaks & hiking is what I do lately.
Look at this soap. That is real life little soap boots. How cute is Jenna for buying those for me?
I don't hate mushrooms anymore. I actually really love them.

Late Friday night while expressing how badly I want a baby for a short period of time, we came up with a new business idea. Rent a baby. I think it has real potential.

I hiked Mt. Timpanogos with Bekah & it was absolutely breathtaking. We took a couple of pictures but I can't even handle how lurpy I look in them. It's not the good kind of lurpy either it's the awkard animal type. Like for real look at this first picture. What is that?
I went to the zoo again & ate another massive snow cone from the best shack in the world.

This is my favorite hand hold.
You can't help but get funky to this song.

It's exactly one month from my birthday.

I found this picture from finals week & I can feel the pain when I look at it. I'm scared of summer ending. Also, look at how many wrinkles are in my forehead. I think I counted eight.
I miss this girl so much but she manages to be there for me even when she is thousands of miles away.
The end.

June 9, 2012

3 a.m. is a wretched hour to start your day. Especially when you hit the sack at one in the morning. Saturday, June 9th, this was the case. I'd known what was to come but a combination of laziness and stupidity left me unprepared. When I arrived at the starting line I was in shock at how many people were willingly freezing to death, just waiting for the race to start. People are insane. Since three miles strikes me as a fulfilling workout and I hadn't trained, I knew that this race would be a fun one. The first eight miles were cake. I was surprised as to how easy it was to enjoy the beauty of Provo Canyon. I listened to songs similar to this one, all was well. The next three were borderline, but the two that followed were not so hot. Being able to see the finish line but not quite being there was rough. I even resorted to listening to Janet Jackson in an effort to maintain a positive demeanor. It was good for me. The whole running thing. I’m no champion. Heck anyone can run thirteen miles but it was awesome to spend time with my family. After the race I wen't on a couple of dates. On one we went swimming at The Crater in Midway (I'm pretty sure it was on The Bachelor once upon a time) and had a picnic. Another we went to a concert on Main Street followed by the fair/fireworks for Orem days. Oh & then went and got some pie. It was all quite splendid and I got the best sleep of my life that night.

Sugar, Sugar.

I woke up this morning with a head of messy hair and a heart full of hope. It's been a splendid couple of days. I've met more people in the last three days than I have in the last year. It isn't one of those things that can be summed up in writing for it was too great. Refreshing really. Life is so beautiful and it cracks me up how simple it is. All superficial complexity aside we generally all want the same things and strive for nothing more than love and happiness. We struggle to take care of ourselves and dwell on the little things that other people do but when the chips are down we just want to be happy. I think we toss the word happiness around too lightly. Like it's something that is programmed into us, with little meaning, but really that's what it's all about. I have this friend who constantly asks me "Are you happy?" His almost redundant questioning got me thinking about the importance of happiness and the huge role that it really does play in our lives. So to end this rant I challenge you to happiness and leave you a nice quote..
Someone Asked the Dalai Lama What Surprises Him Most. This Was His Response.“Man, because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and the he dies having never really lived.”
Lastly, can we just take a minute and look at these stellar pictures from my childhood, back when things were the upmost simple.
