Krabi.

We just spent a week and a half down south island hopping. It was a heck of a good time. Seriously, we nailed it. Thanks to multiple recommendations & some research we picked great islands & did the best activities. 

 We spent the beginning and the end of our week and a half trip in Krabi. It surely didn't disappoint. We stayed in the trendiest hostel towards the beginning and the most ghetto place at the end. We paid $3.84 to stay there & they gave me a curtain to sleep in. We went kayaking in a beautiful bay/mangrove & survived a crazy storm. We spent a day hanging out at Railay Beach (I've never swam in such warm water). We ate Mexican food. We hit up the night market every day.

The Bustling City of Bangkok.

Last weekend Tang, Ake, & Ton invited us to go to Bangkok with them last minute. They had a few extra seats so Chelsee, Paij, & I decided to hitch a ride. It was such a great weekend! We were able to do a lot & eat a ton of great good. That to me is success. 

We stayed at their house on the outskirts of the city. It was really nice & we had a good time exploring the surrounding area. 

We then took a taxi into the city and spent an afternoon at Terminal 21 (a massive shopping mall). It was really cool. Each floor was designed after a different large city and the bathrooms on each floor were the coolest part. Its hard to explain. Just go to every bathroom if you're ever in the area. We also saw Jurassic World at this mall. Its funny what a luxury simple things like a movie become. 

While we were there we had Mexican food!!!! I think that speaks for itself. 

We then went to Cloud47, a rooftop bar & bistro. It was awesome. The view, food, and vibe were top notch. We were able to catch the sunset & get a glimpse of the night life. 

We spent our last day exploring the weekend market (JJ's). Its massive & so cool. We literally got lost. They have EVERYTHING there. Including tons of animals. Most of them illegal. Heck they even sell kangaroos. They would not let you take pictures because of this.. Hence the blurry photos.. Ton bought a squirrel & some nearly extinct crabs. The whole animal scene made me want to cry. They were not treated well. There were like ten swans in one tiny cage. I don't know. I didn't love area.    

This fish just won a prize for being so beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess. 

 We ate the sketchiest pad thai from this place then got sick.
