Organic Spaceship

Get this, not too long ago I went to preference and danced myself silly. Then I went to an Arcade Fire (featuring Local Natives) concert in Vegas, where I had the time of my life. Everything is top notch! 11 days until another big dance. 29 days until I'm done with school. 35 days until a diploma is in my hand. 88 days until I'm 18. 123 days until I move into my apartment. You had to be present for Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) to understand our happiness in these pictures.

Waking Sitting Up Right

Today was subtly phenomenal and this is why..

I started my morning off with one of those good thing no one is watching dance parties in my underwear to Back In Your Head by Tegan and Sara.

Today is my best friend Jessica Boyce's birthday. It's kind of a big deal, she turned 18 AND she is going to a Celine Dion concert. I love her and am stoked to move in with her in four months. That's right, be jealous.

I went to Pizza Factory with Jess & Baye. On the way there we jammed to Michael Jackson with the windows down.

I received my favorite cupcakes in the whole world from that awesome Davis kid.

I found a missing piece of pottery.

I took a two hour nap.

I came across these pictures.

Happy April 7th!

Dramamine

This is a post that I have been putting off for quite some time now because I have known the caliber of the task. A few weeks ago I hoped on a cruise ship and embarked into the beautiful Mexican Riviera. It was the most relaxing week of my whole entire life! Words can't effectively describe how serene the whole experience was. I read the book Into The Wild [which changed my life], I took a fair amount of Dramamine, ate way too much food and pretty much spent the week dancing to the beat of my own drum. Now I will bombard you with pictures to demonstrate other enjoyable aspects of my trip..
This is Lovers Beach, it was pretty.

I was a sucker and gave into nearly every solitary thing that people tried to make money from. Even the glass bottom taxi, I thought it was quality. This gentleman swindled me, which was irritating but funny.Yes this is the glass bottom taxi, very classy. We did all kinds of sensational things like snorkeling, rock climbing, zip lining and repelling. It was cool but Megan's face in this picture is even cooler. This adorable little place called Yelapa won my heart.Meet our tour guide who strangely resembles Usher. I was a fan of this guy, he did cool things. In this picture he is offering to give us a free shot of strong alcohol. Thoughtful right? Lastly the cruise ship was filled with the neatest of things.

I Can Keep Rhythm With No Metronome

It's a must, a cheer shout out has to be made. Last week I officially completed my last cheer activity![Which is bizarre because it has basically consumed my last three years] It was all very bittersweet and a few tears were shed. Allow me to get a little cheesy here and tell you how amazing the experience has been for me. I know what you're thinking.. A bunch of girls waving their arms around, wearing coordinated outfits and yelling nonsense can't be all that important. Well there might be some truth in that but there is so much more to it then the eye can see. Often cheer was a little out of my element and I questioned my motives but now that I look back at it that was one of the best things for me. Not only did I have some of the funnest times while on this team but I became friends with so many amazing girls. Girls that I would never have had the opportunity to meet if it wasn't for cheer. I really will miss these guys, check out the evolution!

Here Comes The Sun

Nothing can more adequately describe my mood then the song Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles. Hence it has been played on repeat for roughly two hours. LIFE IS EXQUISITE, Happy Sunday!

I've Been Having Good Days

My life has been so crisp lately, I don't know what to share in fear that I won't do it's loveliness justice. Every possible aspect has been at a peak and I couldn't be more pleased. Here are some of the silly perks.

  • Going camping with some friends
  • Apples and peanut butter
  • The Post-It notes that have taken over my television
  • Beating people who trash talk me in words with friends
  • Simple architecture
  • How hard my friends and I laughed at these hideous pictures taken while at girl's state basketball

  • Going rock climbing
  • These stunning shoes
  • The way this song makes me feel
  • Sleeping in my car during school
  • The pillows in my hotel room
