Holla At Cha Boy

Lately I've been having unexplainable days. Oh and I basked in the magnificence of STG last week. I don't want to share with you all my confusion. Instead I am going to list  some things that make me terribly happy. As of October 24, 2011 these things bring me joy.
1. The beautiful changes that are taking place in nature
2. Warm embraces from people that I love and reuniting with friends
3. I'm the proud owner of the She & Him Christmas album which is awesome
4. Wedding videos
5. Adjusting to my surroundings and making new friends
6. Star burst smoothies from Jazzy and Durangos
7. Running in the middle of nowhere
8. Candy corns
9. The smells and clothing that come with fall
10. There is only one more week until no shave November begins
11. Being able to write things like this on my blog without feeling pressure to impress followers
12. My new glasses
13. Carving pumpkins and filming scary movies
14. The background on my computer (bearded Ryan Gosling)
15. Pinterest
EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY

C'est La Vie

I'm going to neglect detail about my life right now, although it is much needed. There is a ... at the end of my story and I simply want to throw up whenever I think about it.I can't eat, I can't sleep and I sure can't think hard enough to accomplish my piles of homework. This is what my life sounds like right now. (No I am not obsessed with Little Miss Sunshine, it has just been in alignment with my feelings lately.) I swear one day I will figure things out.

Super Freak

The walls in my apartment are paper thin and everyone hears every little sound.Seriously though, one time I let out a quiet sneeze and my roommate said bless you in the next room. Right now my roommate and her friends are listening to super freak and I couldn't help but be reminded of this gem. Ignore the fact that it's in Spanish and focus on the beauty of the dance moves.

This Just In.

1. Sometimes people tow cars at one in the morning just for kicks. In which case you have to go get it from a lot and pay 175 bones.
2. A root beer freeze from Taco Amigo is the sweetest of sweet.
3. Regardless of how much you don't like BYU you can still have a killer time at one of their games. Side note: contrary to popular belief BYU fans are not always nice, some can be serious scrooges.
4. The required reading material for American civilization is far from thrilling.

5. High school reunions are a good idea, especially when it includes eating IHOP.
6. Conference weekend is a good weekend & Dallin & I can make a mean batch of cookies.
7. When my home girls come to visit, everyone is happy!

I'm going home in two days and I couldn't be more excited! Till next time.

Oh Orem.

Five things I have learned this week while residing in Orem.
1. When people say they are going to bring drinks, they don't mean capri suns.
2. Something is not right about Alexa in an apron and headset.
3. Finding tickets to the circus can be difficult and if you ask someone to borrow their phone they are going to assume that you are a drug dealer.
4. Very few people you meet in the hot tub are friend material.
5. Any set of roommates that give collectors Beatles cups as a (just for kicks) gift are keepers.

Cha-ching

Oh hey! Its me again and boy has it been too long. I can't even begin to tell you all that has happened to me over the course of the last few weeks. It only seems logical to celebrate my official "joining" (In other words I'm now going to go instead of making up excuses) of relief society by enlightening you guys with what the RSers like to call GOOD NEWS MINUTE. Holy run on sentence. Take it or leave it.

-I officially finished a horrid book that I had to read for history. I highly recommend not reading it. Three words to describe it would be soft core porn. Just kidding but really it was a little risque sometimes. It's called When Jesus Came the Corn Mothers Went Away. If that title isn't the most charming thing you've ever heard I don't know what is.

-I had the opportunity to go back to St. George twice. I'm a softy I know. But seriously I become homesick easily and am convinced I have separation anxiety. I just really miss my family and blond headed friend. Yes, last time I arrived I found these pants which I purchased for myself. I guess I overestimated how quickly my freshman fifteen would kick in.

-I got a job, which is great! Bath and body works is the place. I'm mostly just excited that I get a discount on Victoria Secrets stuff as well. New underwear every month. Can I get a heck yeah?
-I'm getting a little bit better at cooking. Today I made pancakes and it only took me four tries. Look at the obvious improvement in the two snap shots pictured below.

-I am finally starting to warm up to this place. One of the perks is there is ALWAYS something going on. No lie I swear there is a party every single night. It's a good time.

-They have a flippin dollar theater up here. Which actually cost one buck instead of three. Monday nights its even a whoppin seventy five cents. I may be a little obsessed, which would explain why I held a photo shoot of the theater. Also I promise my bangs don't always look that dumb and if they do I like to pretend they don't.

-I discovered the indoor climbing joint of my dreams. I can't wait till I have money and time can go errryday.

-A handful of my main bands have come out with new albums in the last couple months. Bombay's just happens to be the soundtrack of my last two weeks.

-I found my future wedding ring. This picture is a bit small and blurry but you get the idea.
I think that is all for now. Adios!

Town To Town.

So I'm sitting in the library where I should be doing homework but instead I am listening to music that makes my heart hurt and feeling alone surrounded by TONS of people. Awh the beauties of moving. I would also like to share that I am anti-love these days. I feel like Tom on Five Hundred Days Of Summer in the fact that I want to yell "get a room" to everyone I see holding hands. I know I should be happy for them and it's really no big deal but I just feel like they should be wallowing with me. It's even tougher because everyone up here is on the prowl, it makes me sick. Hence I wear my hair in a ponytail everyday and refuse to shower. Greasy hair, don't care. But hey I promise I am having some fun and absolutely love going to class and maybe I don't even mind doing homework that much. NERD STATUS FO SHO. These pictures were taken last night while Jess & I were basking in our poor self hygiene. Day three no shower. Yummy.
