Too Much Art, Not Enough Genius.

I am writing this post is because I don't want to write my evil twelve page research paper. My life has been tripping me out the last couple of days. Weird things have been happening to me. Most which I don't want to share but still I feel like everything is one big dream. Vague? You bet. I'm happy. Here is the remedy... Wake up and dance in your underwear to this song. Then drink a Jamba Juice & eat some chocolate chip pancakes. Snuggle into the afternoon. Have tickle tortures and fake fights. Sit down and read Into The Wild for the tenth time while listening to instrumentals like this one. Paint your nails red. Abuse the phrase YOLO. Make up silly stories to this song.Stay up all night long laughing then do something unexpected. Be sung to sleep. Above everything else, avoid doing homework like the plague.

Waving At The Taxis.

I've been reading this book titled The Architecture of Happiness by Alain De Bolton and I absolutely adore it. It is some serious mind candy. Here are a few things that I have been thinking about regarding architecture lately.

- All buildings, like people, fade and disappear making it hard for us to attach to them.
-People will posses some of the qualities of the building they are drawn to.
-Architecture may well possess moral messages; it simple has no power to enforce them. It offers suggestions instead of making laws. It invites, rather than orders us to emulate its spirit and cannot prevent its own abuse.
-We may need to have made an indelible mark on our lives, to have married the wrong person, pursued an unfulfilling career into middle age, or lost a loved one before architecture can begin to have any perceptible impact on us.
-It is in dialogue with pain that many beautiful things acquire their value. Acquaintance with grief turns out to be one of the more unusual prerequisites of architectural appreciation. We might, quite aside from all other requirements, need to be a little sad before buildings can properly touch us.

All I want to do is design beautiful buildings..

The Day The Odds Were Ever In My Favor.

Yesterday went a little something like this..
Class was canceled.
I got the position I wanted at work & my quality of life is about to improve.
I got FREE cheesecake.
I came home & there was a brand new 50 inch flat screen on my wall. It was FREE.
I walked downstairs & was fed FREE Rumbi & Jamba Juice.
I went to this UVU/BYU party at The Beach Resort. Where I was given an pass for bowling, croquet, ropes course, indoor surfing, arcade games, laser games, the merry go round and much much more. Oh and did mention I got FREE diet coke.
I was standing at this party and this random girl in front of me told me that I was really pretty, when I felt nasty. It was sweet and made me feel good.
I had a dance party.
I came home and whipped out my eight page English paper like a ninja. Even effectively quoted some Harry Potter.
Moral of the story is, yesterday was my day.

I'm usually not big on these quote things but this is what I've been working on doing and it's changing my quality of life. Try it I dare you.

Good Vibrations

The last 48 hours or so have been phenomenal.
-I attended The Hunger Games premier and it was lovely. Especially because I showed up ten minutes before the movie and still had great seats. Thanks to assigned seating. Also the screen was huge I was freaking out and my acquaintances made fun of me. I felt like a small town girl.
- I  made my way to this place called Sea Base where I got my snorkel on. I swam with  freaking 10 foot sharks and 100 pound fish. It was seriously neat. Then I ate BBQ food.
- I finally got some Cadbury eggs and ate them for breakfast.
- I remembered how much I love old school Doo Wop music and spent a good hour dancing by myself in my room.
- I went on a run in perfect weather.
- I went to The Festival of Colors and that was so fun and I love my friends and there was so much chalk in my nostrils and there were so many homosapiens and I danced and my hair is dyed funny colors.
- I went to a party at some lounge, very college like. Some of the boys did a moderately conservative strip tease and it was hilarious. Yet some of the people there were stressing me out.
I live a good life.

Sleep On The Floor, Dream About Me.

It's Friday & you should know.
I crave Thai Mango like its nobody's business.
Retail therapy isn't unusual for me.
I made the world's saddest playlist cause I miss being down in the dumps.
I'm happy that I purchased Royal Tenenbuams.
I have a crush like a giddy little school girl.
I've dreamt of mint m&m's four times this week.
It's taking all my strength not to take off & move somewhere unknown.
One of my best friends & I unintentionally act like a married couple.
This is a good vacuuming song.
I think I want to be an architect.
I'm obsessed with picnics.
Her smoker sounding voice never fails to soothe me.

Pony Rides & Dancing Bears.

Such is life lately..
